The Co-op currently sources all of its tomatoes from reputable growers in Canada and in the Upper Valley of Vermont & New Hampshire, and no tomatoes from these areas have been implicated in the FDA’s Salmonella outbreak warning. Furthermore, the FDA recommends the continued use of “cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes, and tomatoes sold with the vine still attached from any source.”
