Community Partners

The Co-op’s Community Partner of the Month program offers an opportunity for Co-op shoppers to donate at the registers to a different local non-profit organization every month.

The The Upper Valley Haven, Women’s Information Services, Listen Community Services, Headrest, Hanover Cooperative Community Fund, Twin Pines Housing Trust, and Good Neighbor Clinic are partners every year in February, May, June, August, October, November, and December, respectively.

In 2007, shoppers also donated to Upper Valley Teacher Institute, Good Beginnings, Stepping Stones and Next Step Peer Support, Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity, and Hannah House.

Ninety percent of all donations go directly to the Partner of the Month. Ten percent goes to the Hanover Cooperative Community Fund (HCCF), the Co-op’s charitable foundation. Over $46,000 has been distributed to local non-profits since the program began in mid-2002.
