Grocery Department

Rick Argent

Walk into the cereal section of a big-chain grocery store and there is one thing you’ll notice that they all have in common: high-sugared cereals, located down low on shelves near the floor. Why? Because that’s where children will see them, and subsequently try to talk an adult into buying them. At the Co-op, those cereals are located on the top shelves, where mom and dad can see them and make the decisions. It’s a little thing, but it’s the little things that make cooperatives a different shopping experience.

Our Co-op is a grocery store, after all, so check out our Grocery Department and see how the cooperative difference influences the things we do.
