Meet Patrick Kearney
The Co-op is full of folks like Patrick. He’s smart, free-spirited, bounced around a lot in his day, and ended up liking the Co-op so much that it made him settle down a little. He’s been here for many years now. Patrick is a familiar face at the Co-op Information Desk, where if he doesn’t know the answer to a customer question, he certainly knows how to find it. He rides a bike to and from work every day that he can, which adds up to thousands of miles. And he also plays the cello and knits a mean Irish sweater, but don’t tell him that we told you.
Andra's Breads
From her home in north central New Hampshire, Andra House celebrates her Latvian heritage through the breads she bakes. “I learned to bake from my grandmothers, who were both Latvian,” says Andra. “Feeding people is how we show that we care.” She furthered her skills working in a Connecticut-based Latvian bakery before settling in northern New Hampshire.
Meet Jolene Labonte
It’s not easy keeping the big and busy Co-op Merchandising area organized. In fact, it was so difficult that not long ago we realized someone special needed to help us with it. Fortunately, Jolene agreed to take on the job, and we’re lucky that she did. Jolene has been at the Co-op for a long time. She’s smart, friendly, and super organized. She spent years helping customers at our Service Desk, and was so good at what she did she was given more responsibility. Now she assists our Merchandising Director and Assistant Director, and with her help all of our merchandisers can more easily do what they do so well.
