This New Hampshire Dairy of Distinction produces and bottles milk from its rBGH–free herd of Holstein cows. Mary McNamara estimates that each glass bottle sees 25 uses before it is recycled. The dairy’s distinctive logo—a horse-drawn delivery cart—is reminiscent of the McNamara family’s roots raising and training harness racehorses.

But there are a wide variety of other departments that help run our cooperative too — with people who are consumer-education and information experts, accountants, writers, graphic artists, computer nerds, MBAs, and environmental-sustainability gurus, just to name a few.
