How to Join
It takes only a few minutes to join the Co-op by visiting the Service Desk at either Co-op Food Store. Want to save time? Download and fill out an application (96K) and bring it with you.
Each member household buys ten $5 shares of Co-op stock. This one-time $50 investment entitles you to full membership in the Co-op.
You may make your membership investment when you join or over time. Whichever option you choose, your shares may be redeemed should you decide to cancel your membership at a later time.
When you join, you will receive a membership card with your own member number. Present your card each time you make a purchase at the Co-op Food Stores, Co-op Service Center, or the Community Food Market, and your purchase will be automatically recorded in your membership account.
At year’s end, if a patronage refund is offered, your refund will be calculated from the total in this account.

Crossroad Farm
Post Mills, Vermont
Of all the farms that supply the Co-op, Tim and Janet Taylor of Post Mills, Vermont, sell the widest range of products, with lettuce serving as their major crop. They provide the Co-op with eight different varieties of lettuce, which are available seven days a week during the season. They also supply salad mix, cucumbers, cauliflower, cabbage, peas, green peppers, red potatoes, summer squash, and zucchini squash. In addition, Janet provides the Co-op Floral Department with annual flowers and hanging baskets.
