Grocery or BIN:
8 oz. soba noodles, Sesame Oil, 1 bottle Grilling Sauce or Marinade
with Ginger
Seafood: 4 4-oz.
tuna or salmon steaks
Prepared Foods:
2 cups Thai Mango, Slaw
Wine: Trimbach
Riesling
20 minutes ahead:
Prepare grill. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil.
10 minutes ahead:
Brush fish with grilling sauce, place on grill, and cook 5 minutes. Add
noodles to boiling water and cook 6-8 minutes. Turn fish, brush with more
grilling sauce, and cook 5 minutes more. Drain noodles and rinse with
cold water.
Dinners Ready!
Toss noodles with sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve noodles and fish with a drizzle of ginger sauce, and a side serving
of Thai Mango Slaw.
The Dietitian says:
Both tuna and salmon are good sources of heart-healthy omega-3 oils. Each
1/2 cup of slaw is a serving of vegetables, with the added benefit of
delicious mango, which is loaded with beta-carotene.
