Serves 4
1 cup white rice
1 3/4 cups chicken stock or water
1/2 tsp. salt, if desired
Combine rice, stock or water and salt in a covered saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer gently for 20 minutes. Fluff rice with fork.

Lisa Wragg came to the Co-op nearly right out of high school. She was a whiz with numbers, great with people, and willing to work hard to do the job right. Nearly nine years later, Lisa is still here, and the Co-op is fortunate to have her. Lisa works in the Co-op Accounting Department, where a sharp mind and attention to detail are paramount. She gets the job done with a warm, affable personality, and you can even find her helping to bag groceries and park cars and retrieve carts during our busy holiday shopping periods.
